Programmes

Our TLC Kids after school clubs can be held at a variety of venues from schools, to learning centers and private clubs, to organizations looking for high quality programmes to enrich learning, enhance standards, attitudes and motivation.

Children primarily attend classes in small, ability based groups where they progress through a series of lessons which cover relevant learning objectives. We aim for a ratio of approximately 4-6 students to one teacher. We adjust the ratio accoring to the demands, social composition and abilities within the group.

DraMagic

Enhancing confidence and presentation skills through engaging Drama & Magic activities

Our newest programme is one that promises to keep children engaged and entertained at every turn. DraMagic combines the fun of drama and the suspense and excitement of magic PLUS the benefits of social and emotional skills education. This one-of-a-kind course is a great way to enhance confidence, presentation skills and self-belief in a safe and nurturing environment.

Social & Emotional: It is a common observation that children are growing up in a world with complex emotional and social challenges. We support children in identifying and working with emotions in themselves and others. Our engaging activities develop pro-social relationships with peers and adults.

Drama: Our creative dramatics programme uses drama as a learning technique. Drama supports imagination and creativity in children. Each drama activity encourages children to think outside the box using improvisation, story dramatisation, drama games and other engaging and fun techniques.

Magic: From the adventure and wonder of Harry Potter to the dazzling showmanship of David Copperfield, studying the presentation and skill of master magicians enhances appreciation and enjoyment of this art form. Each lesson they will learn a new trick and have a chance to present to the other budding magicians in the group. Our magical workshops give children the skills and know-how to be confident performers.
